💬 I started KOALI because I’ve always been infatuated with how garments come together. The way lines, curves, and cuts can create something original every time — that’s always amazed me. I started studying the construction of clothes, and deep down I knew I could do it. So I did. I failed more than a few times, but every time I got better. Until I got it right.

📍 I’m from Detroit — the city where we say what up doe. I’ve seen broke and wealthy live side by side, but no matter what side you on, one thing about Detroit — we gone look good. We make “broke” look like a billion. So imagine what we do when we really got it.
My pops was a money-making, poor-rich man. Hustler and hard worker all in one. He’d get that bag and still clock in the next morning. And when you saw him? Oh yeah, you knew he had money — even if he didn’t say a word.
That’s where the inspiration for KOALI’s hood luxury came from.
